Opinions of your professors. How they teach, how they treat their students, if you recommend them to others, etc...

What am I not allowed to post?
Libelous accusations, advertisements / URLs, email addresses, and racist/sexist/prejudicial remarks.

Can my professor see that I wrote a review of him or her?
No, all reviews are anonymous, unless you yourself, put your name on your review.
But keep in mind, if your review threatens the professor, your IP address and time of posting may be enough information for authorities to identify you.

I'm a professor. How do I get negative reviews removed from your site?
In short, you don't. The site is for students, and new reviews are posted every day. If you feel that you are inaccurately portrayed, ask your current students to rate you on KnowyourProfessor. Think of this as an opportunity to hear what your students think of you as a professor.

When was KnowYourProfessor.com started?
KnowYourProfessor was started in May of 2005, and officially re-launched after forming a limited liability company (LLC) in January of 2007.

Who's behind KnowYourProfessor?
In their junior year at the University of North Texas, college roommates Adam Endres and Dustin Boothe created KnowYourProfessor as an alternative to what was available. The idea was to make the website as user-friendly as possible by making KnowYourProfessor absolutely free, as well as not requiring the visitor to sign up or login!
