The profs at RMP's forum probably can't figure this forum out (that might keep them away from this one for a while) - It is too complicated 4 them. N E ways, I think it is funny how mad they get over something so small. I think what happens over there is when a student writes something the profs ATTAAAAACK! Then scrutinize(trying to embarrass them b/c of their spelling, grammar, etc.) students so bad that the students never come back to the forum to talk. Students get disouraged b/c the profs talk to the students as if they are stupid or they might say u have a low intellect. Almost everything that comes off of their fingertips is snooty, rude, condescending, conceited - I could go on. And it shows b/c their forum is dying. The profs on that forum are so rude that I only go over there to disagree with them.
Now, I don't mind talkin to a prof on a forum, but when they are a$$holes from the get-go, it makes it suck to write there. There are hardly any students that stick around to write their thoughts. I am so glad this forum is geared towards students. It is also geared towards not being a sarcastic jerk-bubble. Now if I could just figure out how to filter the a$$holes - I see there is already an option for that on this forum: AWESOMEWell good luck KYP and I will tell everyone I know about this site as I meet them through school. I will now never even mention the competition, which there isn't a good comparison now that u guys have this awesome forum!!
Hey man, you should really dedicate some time to interviewing at radiostations to promote this site. The fact that you have a BA in radio should help. I am sure a couple of morning shows would love to have you. Even if they would not "love to have you", what do you have to lose? It's only uphill from here, man. GOOD LUCK and GOOD JOB.
Yeah I thought about that, only I was always more interested in video, so I applied to all the DFW TV networks. No one called me back though, and I ended up working for a law firm doing their website stuff. Makes money, unlike radio... BUT I may just see about getting a job late nights/early mornings until I know I can make a living.
