Dottie is nice but should not be leading a clinical group. She told us to pair up then we were off on our own. Without the help of the staff we would have been left standing around. She was not to be found most of the clinical time. I do not think she knew any of our names and if we did not have our Alia badges on she would not have known we were in her group.

I had a very poor experience with Dottie. During my clinicals I was taught everything by a employee Shauna. When it came time to have our skills checked off Dottie was no where to be found. I had 2 residents that refused care if she was with us and 1 that through her out of his room. Also a few times I her Dottie refer to a resident as old lady. I do not believe she should be working as a clinical instructor.

Dottie is very sweet but far as an instructor, her skills in teaching and speaking up is not the best. Its hard to communicate with her and for this field it is kind of hard when it is difficult to communite with your instructor.

Dottie is a very well informed instructor, but her teaching style was not my favorite. Dottie is very soft spoken. I had a hard time paying attention, as I had trouble hearing her soft voice.

Dottie is nice. She has great life experiences. But I think she needs a little bit more time to perfect her teaching skills as she's just too soft spoken to keep my attention.
